Press Ganey Associates has been named the emergency room of St. Clair Hospital Award story success 2011.
Award success stories from the Press Ganey, a national organization that measures the quality of care provided to patients, the hospital recognized St. Clair to show leadership, organizational change and improve the performance of executing in the ER. St. Clair is one of only six organizations across the u.s. to receive an award for patient satisfaction performance.
Fine award, sponsored by the Pittsburgh-based good Foundation and Health Foundation, was established to strengthen the Jewish role essential teamwork play in health care. St. Clair won the “Sustaining excellence in the flow of patients in the emergency room.”
Three weeks earlier, a Hospital ER won the Gold Award in the award-winning fine fourth annual for teamwork excellence in health care.
